The period 2018 to 2019 has been productive for my music. Certainly, the highlight was the CD Album DANCING WITH CENTAURS, released by NAXOS on August 9, 2019 (catalogue no: 8579047) .
-
I have to acknowledge the contribution of Stathis Mavrommatis (saxophone), Christina Panteli (piano), Miltos Logiadis (conductor) and the string players from the Orchestra of Colours for their outstanding contribution. In addition, I have to express my sincere thanks to Tassos Kouris for permission to put on the front cover of the Album his excellent artwork oil on canvas and also to Nikko Chronopoulos, sound engineer of Tesserakto Studio and his assistant Elpida Papoutsi.

In November, the CD Album DANCING WITH CENTAURS, released by NAXOS was a trple winner of the Silver Medal Award - Outstanding Achievement to Composer, Composition and CD Album, by the GLOBAL MUSIC AWARDS competition, 2019. Several of my compositions were included in radio broadcastings by the 3rd channel of ERT of Greece.

I have composed the works Emotions for solo guitar and Chasing my Shadow for marimba duo, and De Chirico dedicated GALAN piano trio.

I have transcribed 4 songs from my 10 mvt. suite “DANCING WITH CENTAURS" for flute and piano.I have completed the recording of a series of my works for guitar under the general title KALEIDOSCOPE, performed by my friend outstanding guitarist Pavlos Kanellakis. In addition, I am recording another series of my music compositions under the general title DE CHIRICO with the amazing GALAN piano trio.

A world premiere of my composition MIXITROPIA was performed by Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Massimo Spadano on September 11, 2018 in Bilbao, Spain.

I am currently composing the opera MEDEA commissioned by maestro Michele Bui and soprano Antonella Orefice, for the Orchestra Philharmonic of Bologna, Italy. The world premier is expected to be done at the Ancient Theater of Taormina, in Catania, Sicily.

The period 2020 to 2021, besides the difficulties of covid-19 pandemic spread has been quite productive for my music. Certainly, the highlight was the CD Album KALEIDOSCOPE, released by NAXOS on December 4, 2020 (Catalogue no: 8.579084). I have to acknowledge the contribution of my friend, concert guitarist Pavlos Kanellakis and cellist Vanjgel Nina. In addition, I have to thank my friend Dinos Michelis for permission to put his excellent artwork on the front cover of the Album and also Nikko Chronopoulos, sound engineer of Tesserakto Studio and his assistant Elpida Papoutsi.

A new CD Album under the General title ODES AND CANTOS was released by Irida Classical on December 29, 2021. This includes my work LORD BYRON-THE BEAUTY OF A GREEK, based on Lord Byron poetry interpreted by the renown lyric baritone Tassis Christoyannis and the Athens Bridge Quartet, and also my work THE AFFLICTION OF LOVE, based on contemporary Hellenic poetry, again with Tassis Christoyannis, accompanied by the pianist Lorenda Ramou.

I have completed the editing in a series of my compositions under the general title DE CHIRICO, recorded by GALAN piano trio.

Several of my compositions were included in radio broadcastings by the 3rd channel of ERT of Greece.

I have also completed my Opera MEDEA. This will be a production of the Teatro Massimo Bellini of Catania, Sicily. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 pandemic the world premier, which was expected for the summer of 2022 at the Teatro di Catania and the Ancient Greek Theater of Taormina, Sicily, was cancelled.

A North American premiere of my composition MIXITROPIA was performed by the South Shore Orchestra, conducted by Troy Webdell on July 15, 2021, at Anderson's winery and vineyard, Valparaiso, IN, USA

Another world premier of my concertino TESTOSTERONE for alto saxophone, piano and strings is expected within the period 2023-2024, by the Fort Wayne Orchestra with soloist the saxophonist Stacy Mugans, under the direction of Troy Webdell in Indianapolis, IN, USA
